This monitor publishes IPv6 deployment-oriented measurements (DNS, mail, web, DNSSEC, and APNIC Labs–style capability signals) for Caribbean economies. They are estimates from measurement, not a compliance certification. Gray cells on the EEZ map mean APNIC Labs preferred-% data is not available for that economy.

The site supports the broader goals of the IPv6 Forum to advance IPv6 deployment. Caribbean-specific council narrative can be expanded here as the regional chapter evolves.
Monthly 6/6 IPv4 drill
When enabled for this hostname, on the 6th of every month (UTC) the main dual-stack site can run a planned 24-hour IPv4 maintenance window. During that window, connections over IPv4 receive an intentional “use IPv6 instead” signal while the service remains available over IPv6.
Caribbean launch defaults to IPV4_OUTAGE_SKIP=1 until the drill is publicly announced for caribbean.ipv6forum.com. Operators control the drill with IPV4_OUTAGE_SKIP / IPV4_OUTAGE_FORCE; see docs/development.md.
Why IPv6
The Internet has relied on IPv4 for decades. IPv4 address space is depleted and operational constraints grow; IPv6 preserves what works today while adding vastly more address space and clearer operational models.
